Lightweight, Breathable, Durable

Jason| 7/20/2018 6:04:29 pm

I got this jacket to use during the warmer times of the year - late-spring, summer, early-fall. I'm from Alabama and I needed something to take with me while kayaking or hiking that was lightweight and breathable. Not only is this jacket lightweight and breathable, it's also extremely durable. I really like the adjustable cuffs and how well the zipper is made. The hood is also deep enough to cover me while wearing a hat. I'm 6'5, 210 and the XL size is perfect for me.

User Review (2+ years) & Request for Feature Enhancements

I have owned this jacket in XXL for 2+ years and use it constantly here in rainy Florida. I really like the jacket, but I would like to ask for some feature improvements to make it better for rainy/stormy environments: 1. Longer in the body - offer a tall version. I am 6'5" and could use another 4 inches in length on the body to keep me dry below. No one likes a wet bum! 2. Lose the outside pockets; keep the inside ones. To keep my phone or other items dry, I always tuck them inside. The outside pocket zippers just leave a place that wets out. 3. Wider zipper tab. Increase the width of the material behind the zipper by ~1 inch. Extra width will help keep the jacket from wetting out along the zipper when you are walking into a blowing rain. 4. Pit zips. Move the pocket zippers to the pits to allow for ventilation. I would love to buy the jacket above!

Lightest effective rain protection.
