When you want to stay dry and warm no matter what

I made a long way trying cheap motorcycle rain gear, trying to trust GoreTex and other membranes, but this is the only jacket I'm going to use and recommend from now on. I rode thru a storm in North Texas, when semi trucks were driving half-limit due to visibility issues - basically I have not seen such a shower in my life. I was wearing Pilot Cruiser Rain Jacket, Pilot Road Pants and Pilot Storm Gauntlets. I don't personally use overshoes b/c my adventure boots are perfect on their own. None of my motorcycle gear underneath the raingear was even wet after approx. an hour under that outstanding rain. And it also breathing! Not like my previous saggy BMW suit which was wet inside from body vapor. Frogg Toggs was dry on the inside as well. Best money spent on rain gear ever. Also big enough to fit electric gear. Might be bit bulky (especially pants), but I better be dry then perfect-fit-nice-looking. Wind protection is great as well - rode in near-freezing conditions, garment was great to save all my and mine electric gear heat.

FroggToggs has another Winner!!!

The latest in a 18-year series of FroggTogg purchases, the Pilot II Cruiser is absolutely terrific. This is simply the best-suited FroggTogg jacket I've had for motorcycling. to date. In particular, I'm tickled to have accessible, protected pockets in a rain jacket. I'm a bit hesitant about the removable hood's protection, but can only assume it is designed as well as everything else I've ever had from FroggToggs. This is now my primary for long-distance touring, backed up by the new generation Road Toad I also bought recently to replace one stolen (in any case, 2 jackets is always a good idea out in the middle of nowhere.)

Well constructed

My initial thoughts on the HiViz Pilot Cruiser Rain Jacket is you can't go wrong with this well constructed jacket and works very well on the bike.
