Perfect Wader
Review by Hunter / (Posted on 6/18/2018)
These waders are awesome. They are perfect from early season teal to late season Mallards. With the zip out insulation they are perfect for whatever weather throws your way.

These are warm and dry plus comfortable. Over my many years of waterfowl hunting these are definitely my favorite pair of waders. The zip out liner is a must.

Light weight and breathable

Favorite pair of waders I have ever owned. Light weight and breathable. Very light and doesn't weight down your shoulders. Waders are breathable and water doesn't soak into the material. Feels like wearing pants. Love them

Great waders! Pros: Lightweight, heavily insulated, no leaks, dry fast, can easily put on a big parka jacket inside waders. Cons: Non slim fit feel, needs a bigger waterproof pocket for electronics.

I bought these waders due to being able to pull the insulated liner out if I needed to. I used these waders in 28°F temp today while I waded in water up to my chest for 4 hours. I stayed very warm and dry! These waders can easily fit a heavy jacket down inside them as well. They dry very quickly because of the nylon which I do like. A couple improvements I would like to see are the following Bigger waterproof pocket and slimmer fit waders. These waders do fit a little big on me, I'm 6ft 193lbs size 13 shoe.

Moose Hunt in My Grand Refuge 2.0 Waders
Review by Aram von Benedikt / (Posted on 10/26/2017)
Last night I returned from one of the most dangerous wilderness hunting trips of my lifetime. It was an epic journey down a volatile uncharted Alaskan creek, hunting for moose. We used one-man pack rafts, and were constantly in and out of the boats, lining them through corners too dangerous to float, dragging them down rock-filled riffles too shallow to float, sometimes being dragged ourselves through water-laden brush, submerged rocks, and unpredictable current. Through it all I wore my Grand Refuge 2.0 waders (with the liner removed) and they weathered the storm with panache. Ten days and 30 miles later they had no holes or leaks and were completely dry inside. Without hesitation I can state that they are well designed and up to almost any task you might throw at them. My only complaint is that the size 10 (boot) waders fit rather large on my tall skinny frame. But I guess a bundled-up duck hunter using them with the insulating liner installed might find them just right.
